Here's a recap of a few favorite designers from S/S 2012 collection at NYFW:
I really love the sophistication of Zero + Maria Cornejo. As we can see from the s/s 2012 collection, primary colors (blue, red and yellow) were in full force with clean, structural lines and accented with bold ikat prints:
Another favorite of mine is Jenny Packham, especially for evening wear. This season, Ms. Packham delivered a punch of citrus-hued, airy pieces:
Then of course there's Reem Acra, whose s/s 2012 pieces I literally drooled over. We see her accenting pieces with embellished jackets and fur stoles, a common theme from last season. Just a few faves:
And finally, Naeem Khan with his distinct caftan silhouettes in fabulous prints and over-the-top embellishments:
