Fashion Runway: Milan Fashion Week S/S 2012
Thursday, September 29, 2011
I just love the Italian fashion houses. That being said, the S/S 2012 collection showcased at MFW last week was no disappointment. A short recap:
Sportmax: I love Sportmax for their professional and feminine look. Feminine florals, layered neutrals, and colored sequined suits. These were my favorites from MFW:
Blumarine: bright, sexy and playful with tropical flower patterned accents. Throw in this season's fringed trend for added drama.
Bottega Veneta defines class in pure Italian style. Corset-inspired dress in emerald, feminine pencil skirts paired with masculine leather boxy tunics, and all paired with Bottega's signature large leather bags.
D&G: Colorful, luxurious patterns with flashy gold jewelry accents. Italian mod cool.
Roberto Cavalli: Structured black tuxedo blazers paired with luxurious patterned and gold accented dresses.
Salvatore Ferragamo: Bright, colorful patterns and sexy dresses with slits up to there.
Love Italian fashion!
