Back to Black

It's been chilly here lately, so I had to bring back the hat and gloves. Which I don't mind of course, because they make the best accessories! It's been so hot here recently, I was starting to feel sad about not being able to wear spring clothes. Spring and fall are my favorites for dressing because there are so many more options to wear different layers.
Anyway, here we are near the Library of Congress on a rather windy day. Living in D.C., sometimes we forget (or maybe take for granted) what a pretty city it is and how many beautiful sites and buildings there are. One of my favorite things about having this blog is that we get to work on things like photography and explore different parts of the city :)
I've been wearing lots of bright colors recently and have grown a little tired of it. Sometimes going back to basic black can be refreshing. I'm also loving this new dark blackberry lipstick, by the way. It's different from the usual bright red or pale pink and goes great with basic black.

You have an exceptional and fabulous sense of fashion. So classy and chic..Everything here looks just perfect. I especially love the classic black leather gloves which enhances the look. Sadly we don’t find many women here in india wearing these.. Btw I said that because you look like an Indian or a Pakistani. Take care :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comment, Anushka! I'd imagine black leather gloves would be difficult to wear in India with the heat, unless you were in the northern region where it's colder :) I do love Indian streetstyle, and think your country's designers are really going places! Have you checked out https://wearabout.wordpress.com/? It's an amazing Indian streetstyle blog. I love their photos. Let me know what you think!
